Hosted by my worshiping community, Vineyard Gilbert, Quiet Days is a time set aside each month for guided contemplative prayer for our local church and our neighboring communities. One Saturday a month, from 9 am – 11 am, we gather to reflect upon our hearts in the presence of God, silence our thoughts to hear God’s voice, and still ourselves that we may “know God” (Ps. 46:10). No previous experience in contemplative prayer is needed to join others for this time of looking into the face of God and allowing ourselves to be seen by Him.

Born out of a partnership with Vineyard School of Justice and the Winnipeg Centre Vineyard, the School of Mercy & Justice (SOMJ) is the second of the schools offered by Sustainable Faith and last year was piloted in two Canadian cities. This next fall, SOMJ will be coming to Arizona! Through this school, Sustainable Faith is working to cultivate a deep, vibrant, interior life with God for those engaged in the work of mercy and justice. The SOMJ is a school of spiritual formation for those desiring to lean into an active life while embodying a contemplative posture.
